Transfer 8mm To DVD
Transfer 8mm film to DVD before it's too late! Unfortunately, they won't last forever. In fact, many are so old, if you don't make a move and get them transferred soon, there won't be much left to transfer.
Like all 'tapes', 8mm and 16mm film degrades. No matter how well you take care of them, time is not on your side. Whether they have sound or not, the color, the audio, they all degrade more and more as time goes by.
There are so many variables that can degrade your film reels; how you've kept them, how many times they've been played, if they've not been played in years, how old they are, where you kept them, how you kept them. In the end, it doesn't matter, time has a negative impact on how much is left on those films for you to see and hear.
The sooner you get them transferred the better chance you'll have of actually preserving the memories on them.
We can transfer those vintage reels to a variety of digital formats including DVDs, a hard drive, a USB jump drive, a video file, or to an online platform (with password) for you to share with friends and family.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
A DVD will hold up to two hours of video.
All film is cleaned and conditioned before the transfer is started
We charge by the foot for transfers (30 cents per foot for sound, 20 cents per foot for silent).

OTHER OPTIONS
You may choose to have your film transferred to a hard drive. We can also transfer them to a video file (for you to download). Maybe you'd like to have them transferred to a USB jump drive or uploaded to an online platform (YouTube, DailyMotion, Vimeo), with a password for you to share with friends and family
All files compatible with Windows or Mac, DVDs work with your home DVD player as well.
We can do both silent and sound films.
